Fratelli Tutti Enclyical Letter of the Holy Father

Released in October 2020 during the COVID-19 pandemic, the letter exhorts a world in isolation toward fraternity, social friendship, and communion while addressing a wide range of topics: politics, migration, global health, intercultural and interreligious dialogue, environmental stewardship, and more.

The title "Fratelli Tutti" is a reference to the writings of Saint Francis of Assisi and a call to an expansive and profound love for all members of the human family. With a warm, fatherly tone and in a spirit of dialogue, Pope Francis invites all people of good will to engage in fraternal dialogue and take concrete steps toward the creation of a more peaceful, united future.
